We are authors just like you. When our first book was finished, we wanted to make it available as quickly as possible and the answer was Amazon's Kindle.
The process for formatting the text, images, and cover of our book for the Kindle turned out to be a little less straight forward than we expected. We waded through the Kindle forums and found lots of helpful information - unfortunately, it was often contradictory. We bought the books promising to explain it all, but they were contradictory too and often difficult to follow.
Finally, after a lot of trial and error, we found a process that worked well and our book Emotional Triangle: A True Story of Overcoming Childhood Trauma, Years of Grief, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is now available on Amazon's Kindle.
After we were published on Kindle we re-formatted our manuscript and made it available as a soft-cover edition too. Both are now for sale on Amazon.com and doing well!
